- IF IT WEREN'T FOR CALVARY
I'll never be discouraged~
I refuse to live with doubt~
My Jesus came to save me for~
That's what He's all about.

He stepped down from the Heavens~
And gave up His Heavenly home~
Then walked up that ole Calvary road~
For My sins to atone.
-
He never questioned His own fate~
The suffering He would face~
He willingly hung on that cross~
And died to take my place
-
And I'll remember His great love~
He died there for my sin.
And never any day will pass~
Without remembering Him~
- The white horse he will come on one day~
Won't even catch my eye~
My eyes will be on Jesus Christ~
My heart wont wonder why~

A Savior with such wonderous love~
Would give His life for me~
I'm so unworthy of His love~
He sealed my destiny.
-
My eternal home is Heaven now~
And that could never be~
If Jesus had not loved me so~
And died to set me free.

- So every day, I'll praise His name~
And know that He is Near~
And I'll give "THANKS" for His great love~
Like each day of the year~

It's my pleasure to worship him~
And to celebrate with glee~
But we'd have "Nothing to be thankful for"~
If it weren't for CALVARY!
