LIFE HAS NO SHORTCUTS
Life has no shortcuts and all will
experience
some joy and
some pain,
It might even
be compared to seasons
of glorious
sunshine or doom gloom days of rains,
Yet, if it had
only one path
minus it`s
many twists and detour turns,
Might we by
pure boredom miss the miracles
for which
our spirits so longingly yearn.
Imagine no
peaks in emotions
for senses
hear and feel,
We`d be naught
but mechanical clones
with hearts of
no cheer.
None ever when children were told
there were rose gardens without thorns,
So
it stands to common sense reasoning
there's a time to rejoice and also
a
time to mourn,
So
one day at a time
will occasionally be our days song,
Yet our soul seeds will remind us
hope resides in our spirit and nothing in life
stays the same for too long.
