MY SWEET SAM

There's a certain little fellow,
That likes to cuddle up with me.
Wants to cuddle all the time,
He's a puppy dog you see.

Daylight starts with trips outside,
And continues through the day.
Doggy toys strewn about,
Keeps my house in disarray!

Lots of loving hugs he gets,
But gets some scolding too.
Loves to chew on everything,
Especially on my shoe!

He runs and plays through the day,
Often stops to take a nap.
At night he has just one desire;
To fall asleep upon my lap.

Since he's come into my life,
Days have a different start.
I never knew a puppy dog
Could absolutely win my heart!
