NOWHERE TO HIDE
|
There is an old saying among us, |
|
one that is often denied; |
|
but the truth of the adage still lingers: |
|
you can run, but you never can hide! |
- Way "down in the dumps" may find us,
- when sorrow has taken it's toll;
- but seeking a haven of comfort,
- we ran, instead of console.
When fear and despair are the demons...
that offer most wretched of rides,
robbing our precious freedoms
that God has so well supplied.
Grab life by the horns" and hold it,
with Jesus, our savior, and guide;
leading us to salvation,
and never to run or hide.
The world is evermore turning,
'twas meant for spinning aloft;
not stopping for some forlorn loser,
to let this somebody off!
Facing this life is so awesome,
just fill it with gladness and pride,
turning to God, for He loves us,
'cause we'll never get out...alive!
