This
Week,..I have had ''Many ..many'' Messages of ''Sorrow'' and
Sadness
from
Some of ''Our Warriors'' about their Families..
The
most recent about Several being ''Close'' to Walking Their
''Last Patrol''
in
this Life here as We know it...
I, not
only as a ''Friend'' but as a 'Pastor' am Truly Saddened when I
Receive
these
Calls,...
I can
only Pray that Their ''Passing'' is as Quiet and Comfortable as
Possible,
and
that Their ''Dignity'' is Respected, as they prepare them self
for Their
Transition from Life Here to the ''Eternal Life'' Promised by
The Lord...
Which
brings me to a ''True Story'' of a Young Marine,..So Severally
''Wounded''...They called him an ''Expectant''....Expecting him
NOT to
make
it!
A
''Young Marine'' was Critically Injured in a 'Land Mine'
explosion,..He
was
Injured so bad, he was given a 'General Medi-Vac' that was
stopped
though
by another 'Marine' who saw fit to make sure he had
''immediate''
treatment to save him, as he was not quite dead yet...
Well,.through the ultimate stages of ''Life and Death''
experiences this
'Wounded Marine' went through,..He actually ''Died'' several
times,..
At one
point,.he awoke to find himself on a ''Shiny Table''..silver as
he
told
it,..lying ''naked'',.. cold..burned..paralized and scared!...
He
remembers lying there for several hours,..at one point he tried
to ''Cry Out''
but
his jaw was wired shut,..seems he was hit there too!
Story
goes that 'Finally' three people walk in with ''Instruments'' of
all
kinds,...''Lets Debreid Him'' one said looking at him!
Panic
swept over him,..''Oh God,..they think I'm Dead!'' he thought to
himself!
It was
true,..as he did ''Expire'' several times and went into a
''Coma''
Well,..Not this time,..as they looked into his ''eyes'',..he
Blinked!,..''Hey!..
We got
a Live One Here!'',..You see,..because of the ''Head Trauma''
his
eyes
were Dilated giving him that ''Look''..the ''Goner's Look''..
Well,..back to his ''Recovery''..He Awoke to find himself in a
room with
many
beds lined up in it,.. many times during the following day and
night,
Beds
were moved in, and beds were moved out..
People
kept coming over,..adjusting his ''I.V.'' and looking at
him,..Finally,
even
though he was barley ''Audible'' he asked,..''What is this
place?''
''Why
You Are an Expectant!'',..Expectant?..''What is that?''...''I
Guess I can
tell
you,..Your NOT Expected to Live!''
Holy
Paparazzi! After that, he forced himself to stay ''Awake'' until
they
''Finally'' decided he would in fact ''Make it!''..
James-1:2 -3...''My friends, consider yourselves fortunate when
all kinds of
trials
come your way. For you know that when your faith succeeds in
facing
such
trials, the result is the ability to Endure''
We All
have to ''Understand'' that God's ways are not our
ways,..When We
face a
''Crisis'' whether it is ''Our self'' or another,.. God has
Purpose for it.
A test
of Faith?,..I don't know,..But Remember this..God and Only
God
knows
''Our Time of Arrival,..and Our Time of Departure'' in this Walk
of
Life.
It
seems ''Very Cruel'' to many, that God ''Allows'' Death, or a
Bad thing to
Happen
to ''Good People''...
''But
they were so Young,.. or they were such Good People'',.. Yes,
that is
so
true, and it seems that God falls to peoples ''Wrath and Hate''
after that,..
But it
is fact,..God Only Takes the Best,..and Folks get sick and die
from
the
''Pollution'' here on Earth...
I say
this because Earth was the ''Garden of Eden at one time,.. Look
around
you
now,..I sure don't see ''Eden'',..Whats in that ''Tap Water''
you drink,..
Is
that Beef your eating full of Chemicals to give you ''More
Bang'' for your
buck!..
Philippians-4 :6-7...''The Lord is coming soon.Don't worry about
anything, but
in all
your Prayers ask God for what you need, always ask with a
thankful
heart.And Gods peace, which is far beyond human understanding,
will keep
your
hearts and minds safe in union with Jesus Christ''
While
we think it is ''Harsh'' to Loose a Loved One,..and it is,..God
closes
some
doors in Life and Opens others...
We
will not and cannot figure out why this is,..But Know This,..We
All
Will
Be Together Again in the ''Next Life''..All of Us....
You
''Must Have Faith '' in His Word,. or He Wouldn't of said it!...
John-15:15..''I have called you friends, for all things that I
heard from My Father
I have
made known to you''
Some
might find this weeks message a little ''Crass'' or Offending,
it is not
meant
to be,..God Truly Loves us,..After all,.. Did He not send down
''His Own''
Son to
die for us?
I
Speak from ''Experience'' in this matter,..I WAS that ''Young
Marine'' who
was an
''Expectant'''...
We
must also ask ourself this question,..Is anyone really ever
ready to leave
their
Life here?...Have You Accepted Jesus as Your Savior?..
May
God Hold All of You Close to His Heart,.. and Hold Those whom
are
Suffering in the ''Comfort'' of His Words of ''Eternal Life''..
If I
could take away even a ''little'' of Your Pain,.. I surly
would...
I
