Ali?'...He truly was able to say it and Back it up,..But that was
''Yesteryear''...
''Float Like a Butterfly,..Sting like a
Bee!''
Now,Sadly 'Old Age' and Time has caught up
with him, but I'm not going to ''Down-Play'' him or try to take anything
away from him,.He will always be the ''Champ'' in my book,.''Boxing that
is''
''Joe Frazier''..his ''Nemisis'',..without
O'l ''Smokin
Joe'',..Ali would,..well. He just wouldn't be able to call himself the
''Greatest''....

Joe Frazier'' ,..he's till the ''Champ'' in my book too!...
And again Sadly, Time and Age has got Joe
too!
I have met several times with another
''Champ'' out this way,...One of the ''Fastest Welterweights'' in Boxing
History,.. and he is 'On Top of His Game''...Boxing
 ..
Nope!,..He is Working out here in the West
Coast,..Helping out many folks here, during the ''Hard Times,''And to
me,.'That is What Makes Him Still a Champion!''...
Great Men like Him,..and there still are a
''Few Greats'',.. put aside Personal Gain
and reach out to ''Help'' the guy next door,
or some upcoming young person to
achieve a Goal,..be part of a productive
Community.
What about ''Our Leaders'' whom consider
themselves to be ''Great Ones?''
I really can't remember any to speak
of,..Want to know why?..It is written..
Mark-10:31..''But many people who seem to be
important now will be the least
important then, and many who are considered
least here shall be the greatest
there''..
The ''Great Ones'',..put
aside ''Fame and Fortune'' and silently do
the work of The
Lord so to speak, Pathing a
Path for Future Generations to better themselves.
No ''Bugles'' no horns like some folk's we
know!,..Just good ol' hard
work,..
An ''Investment'' into the Future I call
it!...
2- Corinthians-4:16-18...''Therefore we do
not lose heart. Even though our
outward man is perishing, yet inward man is
being renewd day by day. For
our light affliction, which is but for a
moment, is working for us a far more
exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while
we do not look at the things
which are seen, but at the things which are
not seen. For the thing which are seen are temporary, but the things
which are not seen are eternal''
In ''Our Walk of Faith'',..Do We ask for or
Want to ''Be The Greatest?''
Do We Need to be ''Recognized'' as the
greatest,..or are we humble at
the fact that through God we are doing ''Great Things'',. knowing that
it is Not important hat anyone except
ourself and God know what we do is in His Name, and that
the ''Reward'' will come later,..Much
Later..in Heaven!
We need to learn to ''Love''
ourself and feel confident
that what we do here in our
lifetime, may at times go unnoticed or
unappreciated..but as Jesus see's
it...
Some folks do a lot of good things, but not
out of the Love of Him.And although
they were being praised for their
perserverance and
patience, they were doing
good for nothing!...Love the Lord..love
yourself,..love What you do...in His Name.
Like Ali and Frazier,..We need to ''Team
up'' with a partner that'll make us shine..
Team up with the Lord...He'll bring out the
''Best'' in you!
This ''Message'' came about,..Because I was
asked by an ''Older'' person who was in ''transition'',and about to meet
the Lord,..''Will Anyone Remember Me, or the Good Deed's I did''..
I
assured them that those
''deed's'',..although not maybe recognized at that time,
helped someone or even changed their
life,..and the ''Reward'' that you might
of not received here,..is waiting for you at
the ''Gate of Paradise''..
I guess this message
tie's in with last weeks
message of helping the ''Less Fortunate''
To me,..it is incredible how life seems to
inter-change with everything we do,.Seems
that ''Jesus''..well He touched on
everything here in life during His Short stay on Earth!
Well,..enough said...''I Am The
Greatest''...here on ''Earth'' it is a short spurt,..not
even worth mentioning, in fact..''How Soon
We Forget!''..But in Heaven,..well that
is an 'Eternity' of ''Thankyou's''
waiting to be claimed by those whom Jesus claims as ''His
Greatest''....YOU!
