REMEMBER ME

I am; Where the sky meets the earth;
Where the wide and unruly oceans were birthed-
I am; In the pastel colors of the rainbow's arch-
In the gentle Spring rain; and the Winds of March

And I am with you; Walking beside you each day;
I watch and help guide you down life's highway-
I've heard you when you said you missed me so-
but this dear Child I need you to know

It's okay to be happy; to smile and join in;
To hug your family; To play with your friends-
It's okay to remember me; or not to sometimes;
Most of all it's okay, to be you all the time

It's okay to love; Those closest to you;
It's okay to heal; and move on too-
It's okay to remember me; It's okay to cry;
It's also okay to let your tears dry

If after the Spring rain a rainbow you see;
It's just my way of saying it's alright with me-
For you to embrace freely all life has to give-
and cherish each moment with those you live

I will always be with you and beside you each day;
Throughout the course of time and all along the way-
To remember me is to honor me; So gentle; So fair-
To honor me is to remember the love that we shared
