SHE'S
EARNED HER WINGS
Sorrow will demand it's
own
revelation; While her hand
grows cold; And her eyes
they still;
Pain will subside for a
peaceful
resolution; Daybreak will
hold
the last breath of life;
And for
her, the battle will be
over; And
she will have won
Soon twilight will kiss
the roses sweetly,
for an Angel will be
called away-
With body whole, and voice
she'll speak,
alas she'll have her say
No space will confine her;
No bed, no ties;
she'll roam free in the
Kingdom of God-
Nourishment of truth;
Light and love;
will be bountiful, with
just a nod
Heaven will embrace her
innocent smile,
time will be of no
concern-
Judgements fall void; No
man has will;
her wings to fly; She's
earned
Earth will be silenced,
Man's tongue will swell,
against the hushness
beyond the dark-
Many will wake in pools of
shame-
knowing they made their
mark
Her name will be spoken
forevermore,
as a legacy of what we've
become-
A society of legalities;
heartless crowds-
for the gavel of man has
struck us numb
It will be us that dies,
in woeful pleas,
our pain will intensify-
One day we'll find
ourselves in judgement-
appealing our right to fly
