Thanksgiving traditions
Passed down through the
years
Came from our ancestors
Through their blood, sweat,
and tears
A special day set aside
For family and friends
This special meal through
the years
Managed to always transcend
When I go to the store
And take things off the
shelf
I will think back to
yesterday
When they had to hunt food
for themselves
When I get out my bread
machine
And break bread with my
family and friends
I'm going to think back to
yesterday
All the things our ancestors
had to defend.
Thanksgiving
A symbol special and unique
Let's keep loves spirit
alive
Making Thanksgiving last
week after week
Happy Thanksgiving
