Always Running to and fro~
Must get work all done~
Buying "coctail dresses"~
Going to have some fun~

Decorator's coming~
Must get house re_done~
First impression_ important~
"Drinks for everyone"~

 
Next door, at the neighbors~
Sits a new Sedan~
Must go shopping for a car~
Keep up,_ if we can~

Kids must have on "Name Brands~
To walk out in the yard~
Clothes are so expensive~
I'll charge them on my card~

 
Hubby's working overtime~
Has to pay the bills~
Must leave luxaries to the children~
When we write our wills~

Seems to me, he's tired at times~
Oh but _"he'll survive"~
Must have all the "fun" we can~
While we're still alive~

Something's wrong within this poem~
Can you see the flaw~
Greediness and covetness
Is against God's law~

Love thy neigbor, as thyself~
Jealousy's a sin~
What's this "vicious cyle" that~
Most of us are in?

Seek not "earthly treasures"~
It's written in God's word~
Are folk's simply "ignoring" that~
Or could be_they've "not" heard~

 
Time is drawing shorter now~
Until the Lord returns~
Don't be "Painting your back porch"~
As the "front of your home burns"~

Think on what's important~
Then give your life to Him~
Make sure "your kids are ready"~
When Jesus comes again~

"Name brands" _ not important~
To our God above~
Coveting your neighbors stuff~
Is not_"Godly Love"~

 
Charge cards_Working overtime~
That's the "Devil's Trick"~
Causing problems in the home~

Making loved ones sick~
Drink that "Living Water"~
God offers everyone~
Tell your children of "Gods Love"

And how "He gave His Son"~
Teach them_ by example~
How "Living Right", is Done~

Forget the "cocktail dresses"~
New cars_ can always wait~
Don't you think the time is "NOW"~
To get you_"PRIORITIES STRAIGHT"???

One day soon those skies will split~
And Jesus will come through~
Where will you spend eternity~
My friend, it's up to you~

Heaven is real_Hell is real-GIVE YOUR HEART TO JESUS

It makes absolutely no difference_whether or not "you believe" in Heaven or Hell..You will spend Eternity in one of those places..Don't you think it is time to "GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT???
