Raindrops casually coating the walkways,
it's wetness creating spots along the streets.
Torrents of wildly uncontrollable streaks of rain,
began pouring from the windows of heavens.
Wind from nowhere, trees swaying gently at first,
violence plummeted the ground plants, trees.
No gentle breeze, as lightning zinged, zagged
across the darkened skies, thunder roared.
No area was safe from the ferocious storm,
as it's pent up destruction began
on the unsuspecting land; It lashed, it created
havoc as bursts of thunder, lightning crashed.
Huddling masses of humanity sheltered by homes,
shivered and shook, as the heavens released the rains.
An oath, a fist raised in defiance stretched to the skies,
overwhelming remorse at behavior in the past.
Silence, as the storm reached it's peak, then surrender,
to the aftermath of a fury violent and treacherous.
God's creatures wet, defeated, lack apparent,
sins uncovered, tribulation in sight, all forgiven.
Flooding in various places on earth, rain gone away,
tempers subdued, recovery in sight for believers.
The Creator has had his warning to all mankind,
may all rejoice as normalcy is restored. Mercy endureth.
"I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all
my fears." Psalm 34:4
