Tinkles from shiny silver and gold bells
on a blustery Christmas Eve-
Through the blinding snow and frozen darkness,
Small hearts in Santa, believes
Thank you notes left just for him,
that jolly round man in the suit-
A funny looking hat, and a merry chuckle,
eight tiny reindeer and coal black boots
By the touch of his nose, it's time to go,
calling his team to his side-
Dreams to fill, and stockings as well-
he'll reach every child, world-wide
Skateboards for Jimmy, Sven and Juan,
books for Sue and dolls for Sherry-
Sleds and bikes, and high tech toys-
and a very special gift for sweet Mary.
Red and green bows, wreaths that welcome,
decorated trees all aglow-
Fireplaces warm, tiny ears listen,
naughty or nice; He knows
He dashes between stars quicker than comets,
faster than a moonbeam shines-
He's here, there, He's everywhere!
leaving not a child, behind
With the wink of his eye nice and bright,
and a hearty, cheerful, Ho! Ho! Ho!
Santa will be back, next Christmas Eve,
naughty or nice, He'll know.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
